Analysis of individual income levels in Dural in 2006 compared to the Hornsby Shire shows that there was a larger proportion of persons earning a high income (those earning $1,000 per week or more) but a similar proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $400 per week).
Overall, 30.1% of the population earned a high income, and 35.7% earned a low income, compared with 28.0% and 37.1% respectively for the Hornsby Shire.
Analysis of household income levels in Dural in 2006 compared to the Hornsby Shire shows that there was a larger proportion of high income households (those earning $1,700 per week or more) but a smaller proportion of low income households (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 46.8% of the households earned a high income, and 9.1% were low income households, compared with 39.4% and 11.4% respectively for the Hornsby Shire.

The largest change in family types in Dural between 2001 and 2006 was:

Comparing Household types between Dural and the Hornsby Shire in 2006 reveals a larger proportion of Family households, but a smaller proportion of lone person households. · A smaller percentage of households with 1 vehicle (20.2% compared to 34.6%).
The largest changes in the household car ownership in Dural between 2001 and 2006 was with those who owned:
· 3 vehicles or more (+81 households), and;
· 2 vehicles (-69 households).
